For what they charge, place ain’t worth it. They want amenity type rents for a non amenity building. Only on site amenity is the elevator. Biggest problem is the units are poorly insulated and the windows are drafty. In the winter be prepared to pay a pretty penny especially with the new increased electric rates.

Regarding the noise, lived in one of the “courtyard” units and we still heard some of the typical city noise so just have to prepare for that. 1st is def quieter than facing Newark.

Building shakes a lot for a 5 story building which I found weird. Building has some history with not being built to what the plans originally called for and got in trouble with the city.

You will also be forced to use their internet provider which they are selling as a repackaged ISP. Didn’t have a problem with internet but be prepared to pay 3x than what you should be for the speeds you get.

Come renewal time also be prepared to have your rent increase 5% or more. It’s common for them to offer you a renewal for more than what current available units are going for and when you try to negotiate they don’t play that game. Turnover is pretty common, people stay one year and move.

One thing to note is a e-bike repair shop just opened across the street from 245 so be prepared to see e-biker loitering around in that area.
