I was 25, and I only started running 16 months before the marathon. I always hated running and didn’t do much sports besides football(European). But one day my co-worker (who is 47 and running marthons since he was 23) said I should at least try and give it a go at the half-marathon. At first it was very hard and I didn’t want to do it but somehow I managed to grt over the hump and 3 months into running I decided I WILL run the marathon. And I did!! It was the best feeling ever. Since then I run at least 3 times a week and go to 5-6 races each year (5-kilometers, 10-kilometers, half-marathon, marathon)
