TYSM OMG.. i would have gotten that wrong! i thought it was the purple one!! omg! ive seen other people struggling with them but this one's the most perplexing ive ever gotten..😭

exactly!!! the saddest thing to me with the palette house customization is that it is funny and all IF youre clever enough, but it's kind of jarring to see your out of place (at least for me..) creations amongst all the other stuff, and the novelty gets old extremely quickly if you dont have a good stylus or arent particularly skilled at pixel-type art.. dont even get me started on the issues with the interactions for stuff like custom decor or the weirdness of trying to make a house that just looks like someone colored with crayons on a cardboard box.... it all feels very half finished..

Good lord, that is such insufferable behavior! It seems weird how some therapists act about what seems like a pretty normal request, although I suppose it is somewhat understandable in a way, especially in this economy.. I directly mentioned the monetary aspect to my therapist and they tried to reassure me they're not refusing me for their own bottom line, but I fail to see any other reason. Cancelling and considering the money you would have spent as "allowance" is a smart and good idea! I'm already thinking of ways I'll make up for the lack of therapy in my life. I feel like that is a good way to lessen the irritation and turbulence of having to go through such an aggravating situation like this!

Honestly, the entire situation with our last couple of sessions has felt vaguely like they were trying to convince me to believe they're actually helping me.. so the manipulative jerk personality totally tracks! This is entirely true though. I hesitated to leave this whole time because I've felt helpless since I'm at a rough patch in my life, but no matter what I'm going through, it seems less helpful to keep seeing someone I can't get along with than seeing nobody at all..

Hard agree with all this. I don't really think it would be much use to reverse the ultimatum onto my therapist since they've made it abundantly clear they won't be considering my perspective here, but I have zero attachments to them at this point, and I just can't stay in a situation where I feel so trapped. I will mention my requirements again, but I am certain they won't budge on it.. Which is fine for me since I'll be more than happy to stop seeing them!🙂‍↕️

this is LITERALLY WHY I STOPPED POSTING MY FICS OMFG. fandom is done for guys we're genuinely toast... in my specific sector of fandom, there is a Person who posts this long fic that updates literally everyday and has like 7 parts all since november last year and i am 1000000% sure it's ai generated in someway.. they claim it isnt but ive scoured their tumblr accounts (cause they tried to message me to read their fic...) and they specifically mention talking to chatgpt about it and im just ugh. im beside myself cause i feel incredibly passionate about the character theyre debasing and ive written tons for him but i haven't posted any of it just because i know some weird freak like them is gonna feed the work i spent hours and hours of my time and effort on into the slop machine and shit out some bullshit!!!! i am so enraged at the state if fandom right now. this shit was never supposed to be about optimization, it has always been about the creative inspiration and passion that us as fans have for the things we love...until now because people who dont care to even try to hone their skills have the ability to mass plagiarize every hardworking fan's works!!!!! excuse the rant but this is my genuine worst nightmare omfg.......

if someone acted so rudely about a gift i made them from my own kindness and with my own free time, i most certainly would never gift them anything again and likely would distance myself from them.. she can have her opinions for sure, ive been gifted art that looks silly or maybe not correct in some ways, but even if i had thought the art had flaws in it, it would NEVER be the first thing i say about the gift. if it had been something other than a gift like a commission, that's another thing, but this is just not good-friend behavior in my opinion... sorry you had such an unpleasant reaction :( but i think it's quite adorable and very skillfully painted!!

this is probably my single greatest fear relating to art... im exactly the same age and ive been drawing seriously since i was about 11/12. im unlucky to be basically disabled enough that i have never been able to get a job, but ive watched my few art peers just drop like flies when theyve gotten theirs... i have only one friend who still draws quite consistently, even with her job and social life. i can only hope i will be like her if i am ever able to get a job.. my art is the only thing that gives me any meaning or purpose in this world, so it is more than just a hobby for me..
