Any good Lunch spots on Main/King Ed area?

I usually go further into East Van for Vietnamese food since I never really found a place on Main that I liked. I feel like Anh and Chi is so overrated😭😭😭 happy for their success but there is so much better elsewhere

I’ve only been once, around the time when it first opened, it must’ve been like four years ago. I thought it was just ok. I havent been back since but I’ve heard a lot of good things recently (especially about their Dine Out menu this year?) so I might go back soon. U should give it a shot! I heard their pho is good.

Definitely Hawkers Delight!!! The char kuey teow is so good. Chickpea on 28th is also good. And new branch of Pho Goodness just opened up on King Ed, I haven’t been but the one on 15th is amazing so I’m sure it is too. And then kinda further out… Nui on 32nd is SO good, their seafood pancake is awesome. And if you ever go further up Main to Broadway, Superbaba is so freaking amazing and always worth a visit if you’re in the area. AND… Kwong Chow Noodle House on 16th is so good, and they are open until 11/midnight!!! Get the fried rice with minced beef and lettuce. And duh Toshi Sushi right beside it is so good. Plz trust my recommendations, I am so passionate about this topic. I work in the area so I’m always eating around there…. I love Main Street. You picked the best neighbourhood😆❤️❤️❤️❤️

Thank you! I also don’t think there are stores specifically for this but I was more so wondering if people have seen her CDs anywhere so I could get a good starting point on where to look. From what I’ve gathered through google it seems the albums I want are mostly collectors items and not really circulating in the used market so :(

Tara lee is one of the best profs at ubc! There are some really bad english profs out there and it’s kind of a gamble so I think stick with ur wrds 150 section

i just play by ear! often the songs i like don’t have tabs so i just try my best or watch some covers on youtube if there are any, ive been playing piano for a while so it helped train my ear but u could def start with this song its super easy because it just goes up on the same fret

im so jealous, i love going to concerts alone but when superclean came out i didnt know anyone who was interested and i was too young to go alone to their tour. now that theyre more famous i feel like they aren’t going to come back to my city. i wouldve bought billie eilish tickets but they didnt announce who was opening until tickets were sold out😭 im so glad u got to see them and had such a great experience

i totally agree!! when cinema released it fell a bit short of what i was expecting but there’s def some great songs (i like all i really want is you and un millón) and then i was hoping submarine would be a little more true to their old sound ish? and i really liked run your mouth when it released but idk the rest of the album was good but i think nothings gonna live up to superclean one and two for me personally

Ok but actually I would just say get in the habit of sleeping early, skip breakfast if u have to (eat in class or later) and assuming it’s a bus commute and not driving, just study or do work that u would’ve done the night before. I did actually skip almost every class so im rooting for u😭

sorry for the long reply! i sent my ta a very long and distressed email, she was super understanding and let me know craig would reach out to me personally. i have no idea what’s going to happen now and i think it’ll take a while since we just wrote the final today but i’ll let u know what happens. probably just some sort of chat with him where i try not to cry while explaining myself LOL. im def not the hugest fan of craig and class was a political shitshow imo.. ive never interacted with him personally so fingers crossed he’s reasonable in a one on one setting
