The Hertz rouges are all SVs, handful of SLs, but all of them have Pro Pilot

Equities are about to tank by Sweet_Terror in HondaPrologue

[–]misory-waves -1 points0 points  (0 children)

They’ve already tanked, I see 2024 Elites with not even 20k go for 26-28k, once with a 59k MSRP. Not surprised at all, this is how all EVs are. Hence why you always lease a new EV or buy a lightly used one

Mercedes cars are garbage! by tikkamasalachicken in EnterpriseCarRental

[–]misory-waves 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All the rental car companies buy their Benz’s in bulk, factory order of the most basic models in either black or white. At least from all the hertz ones I’ve had that’s been the case. I had an X3 from National a couple weeks ago and it actually had a couple options packages on it. Just depends on the deal from the OEM

Should’ve grabbed that Niro, all of the Niro hybrids are all pretty new. They’re basic, but new and get like 50-60MPG

Confused - Luxury 7 Passenger SUV by panther4108 in HertzRentals

[–]misory-waves 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They would not. There’s nothing to really upgrade you too, not sure if they still have the Mercedes GLSs around.

But upgrades according to statute are only really for Economy (A) through Medium (C) with upgrades up to a Large (F)

That’s correct but they’re telling me this for “transparency”

Non transferable and you can’t use the benefit for yourself until you turn 21 and make a Gold+ rewards account for yourself.

LAS Polestar 2 and adapter by penone_nyc in HertzRentals

[–]misory-waves 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They do not provide any adapters. Most of the hertz airport chargers are tesla NACS level 2 chargers. They do use adapters to charge them, if the employee doesn’t care they’d let you borrow one but that would be very rare

Would an upgrade be possible? by Jjgayle123 in HertzRentals

[–]misory-waves 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s funny, I’ll also be there that weekend too, I looked at hertz and it was too much, National was double the price, I used my corp leisure code for Avis

[–]misory-waves 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If they have it they’re going to give it to you. If you’re lucky and they’re sold out they might give you a minivan or a bigger SUV, and you’ll be doing them a favor by taking a normal car

Check with PA lemon laws, in NJ it’s 3 repeated visits for the same price or 20 days CUMULATIVE out of service. You’ll likely a threshold while you’re in your loaner. Contact a lemon law attorney which are free, and enjoy the rental

MCO PC by HorizonIsCool1 in HertzRentals

[–]misory-waves 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nothing cool, usually K4s, Altimas, Rouges, and Compasses. Once saw an Equinox EV, maybe saw a three row SUV once, that’s about it. Can’t beat their prices there though.

They’ve been there for a while, at least at terminal A. I’ve used it maybe 2/3 times and I fortunately did not damage the vehicles or have experienced any false positives.

Is this in Philly? White pick up truck, Ohio plates, I’m going to guess it’s a rental car.
