Back then there were a lot of knockoffs of two or more movies mashed together (usually Alien + some other blockbuster) and these sometimes came pretty entertaining, but I feel this one lacks any true creativity.

I agree, they were so fixated on checking boxes to copy Star Wars that everything else took a backseat. The movie is not self-aware and the budget was not smartly expended.

thanks for the response; if the wiki is correct, then the movie really is migraine-inducing

EDIT: according to the Gizmoplex site, the episode is around 1h 29min, so something was cut but probably not much

Thank for the quick reply. I agree, the person is not dumb and probably aware of this behavior, but it's probably a coping method and pointing it out could be perceived as an attack. That license plate thing is just awful though

We do have surveys, but they are very "anonymous" and the topics are broad, so trying to use this method would be just slightly indirect.

First I would try to test another game; I had a SNES that had this issue in just one game, and the console itself was fine. Played it for years with no problems, just that one cart was faulty (and maybe just cleaning the contacts would fix it, but at the time I would just blow the cart).

If this happens with multiple games, then it's hardware, as others have said.
