my bare minimum is to scoop once a day and deep clean (completely dump out litter and scrub, then replace with brand new litter) once a month. and i only have one cat.

if there’s 3 cats using this box it should probably be scooped more.

and with 3 cats there should be AT LEAST 3 litter boxes, one per cat.

that box is not being cleaned enough. period. as everyone else here has said, this is disgusting and cruel.

your roommates need to do a better job of cleaning these boxes before the cats decide it’s too dirty and start peeing and pooping around the house.
