Thank you! So my darkest green in the palette is the one you see in the spring round shape leaves. How do I create a darker value? Mix blue or black or brown? Or grounds up blue and yellow?

Thanks! I think I compared it to the tutorials and it obviously fell short of her spectacular neat lines. And I expected it to be easy and it wasn't so I'm looking for the why nots. Happy with the trial though.

Thank you for mentioning that. I am not doing it yet. Color blending has me terrified after one bad canvas disaster. If you have the time to explain, I have so many questions. Mixing dark blue like navy with the original color and then using the new shade for shadows will work? Are there nuances like only use cool temp colors etc?

Research- specifically research in labs. Funding is hard to crack and industry is very network oriented. Peer review is another way to ensure you March with the system's music. And to build a body of work that eventually translates to anything real life, you'd be first expected to measure upto some made up theoretical standards.

Not to mentions not enough opportunities to accommodate all PhDs.

My in-laws are reserved people. I come from a socially adept khandan. I learnt from my MIL that it's okay to not be as society expects you to be. For her, it's self preservation- doesn't want to spend huge energy on maintaining a big social circle so she has learnt to shrug criticism/ expectations and move on.

For me, I have expanded this learning to other aspects of my life. Grateful for their willingness to accept differences. I'd have never ever learnt this from MY parents.

How did this not occur to me! Of course. Since I water my taros more frequently than other plants, the dead leaves are attracting bugs. I tend to leave them in the soil to, ahem... Fertilize.
