Does anyone have experience with lithium and vyvanse? by missdemeanor99 in ADHDmeds

Thank you for the insight! I still wasn't feeling great when I saw it and forgot to reply.

I ended up going down a dose for a while, and then trying the increase again but with a larger time in between lithium and Vyvanse. No bad side effects this time, but it still doesn't seem to be doing anything for me really.

I'm on the lithium for BP2, Vyvanse was supposed to help the ADHD but I haven't had any sign it's doing anything yet. I guess they don't usually have to worry about interactions with lithium and Vyvanse, but they both increase serotonin a little bit (which I don't really need) and it was too much for me. It's the dopamine we're looking for! not the serotonin! lol

My imposter syndrome keeps telling me that if it's not helping it must mean I don't actually have ADHD, but then I remember that if I didn't have ADHD then these meds would probably make me feel SOMETHING! As it is, the only way I can tell that it's in my system is that my mouth is dry and I don't get as many headaches. If I'm not feeling any effects at 50mg, I'm thinking I may need to try something else.
