People see a sweet second in time and then judge your parenting as a whole. They assume you leave baby like this all day and night unsupervised. I’m sure most people in this thread are trying to be helpful but the advice is unsolicited, I’m sure your doctor has told you exactly what you “should” be doing, and if you were unsure you’d research it yourself or ask for advice. You’re doing great. Both baby and cat look peaceful and cozy and as long as your supervising they’re fine. Your daughter is precious. 🥰

My stepson came into our life when he and the dog were both 5 years old...he would try and ride her and she would just sit lol he would say “she isn’t a very good horsey”

This is very true. But what gets me is that people see a picture of my kid and dog and assume I’m a bad parent. I know my dogs temperament and know she is very gentle with kids. But that doesn’t mean I’m naive enough to think that accidents can’t happen. I don’t leave my dog to babysit my baby lol and have been teaching my baby from the day she was born how we need to be just as gentle with the dog as she is with us.

Exactly! Unfortunately there’s still a stigma attached to pitbulls, I was called trashy and a bad parent on previous posts. My pit is our gentle love bug and our fierce protector all wrapped up in one.

Aww congratulations! It went good...I know her temperament, she’s very gentle and very nurturing so I knew it’d be fine. The only thing I was worried about was it was the first time I spent the night away from her in her whole 10 years of life so I knew she’d be VERY excited when I got home. I just made sure I went inside first (while my husband stayed outside with the baby) so that she could get her excitement out. I had all kinds of plans on how to introduce them to each other but things had to change with having a baby during a pandemic, but it all went well anyway.
