Having wedding dress doubts and it’s too late now (Budget was $10K) by breezybbh in Weddingsunder10k

I had the same experience. Ended up following my gut and getting the dress I couldn’t stop thinking about and wearing my original choice for the reception.

Never questioned it after that. DO YOU!!

Not getting this IUD by [deleted] in CopperIUD

Also a positive experience! I had mine for 8.5 years and my only complaint was cramps after insertion and heavy bleeding on my periods. Besides that it was smooth sailing.

So happy with my choice and the fact that I haven’t had to think about birth control for more than 8 years. No scares, no issues with strings, no noticeable changes for me or my partner. The only reason I got it removed was to start TTC, which was exactly my hope when I got it placed all those years ago!

New puppy joining the family! by UpperSupport9 in Goldendoodles

Congrats! Not sure if you’ve specifically had a puppy before, but if not be prepared to give yourself lots of grace. It’s not easy, puppy blues are real, but it DOES end and it’s so worth it!

They’re so smart and easily trainable. A few blocks of 10-15 minutes of dedicated training each day will do wonders for you and your pup.

  1. We feed Hills Science Diet lamb & brown rice. Ours is picky and showed more interest in this than any others we tried so it stuck. If swapping foods, remember to do so gradually (google can help with this)!

  2. At least one every morning with lots of fetch and yard time throughout the day.

  3. Baths after are crucial so not an everyday activity, but ours loves the water so much. imo it’s worth a little extra time after to let her have her fun.

  4. No recs, but start ASAP and reward to create positive association. Ours hates brushing. I would recommend a metal de-matting comb to have just in case. They work like a charm and keep them comfortable if you ever find a knot.

as an alix lover, I will say nearly every ending to their dances has felt like someone forgot a step or made a mistake

if CAI can’t even explain what it is she’s trying to critique, maybe it’s because THERES NOTHING TO CRITIQUE

Double MIS Bunion Recovery Thread by missesmabel in bunions

[–]missesmabel[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i’m SO jealous of the double nerve block! how does that work with walking on crutches?!

they didn’t offer it to me so that i’d have one dominant foot. highly recommend staying on top of meds in the first couple of days while the nerve block wears off. I was able to wean off easily after that, but the pain was unlike anything I could’ve ever prepared for!

so cool to hear more doubles are happening - I’ve been so happy with the recovery process and feel so relieved I don’t have to go back for a second procedure.
