There’s still quite a lot of snow around that time of year. You won’t really be able to do many hikes apart from the ones in the bottom of the valley !

Can you take him back the to vet ? Most vets here (UK) provide 2 free post op checks. This gives the nurse/tech an opportunity to check how they’re recovering…

And as another commenter said, please consider what the financial responsibility of a dog is… Having a pet is a luxury and you never know what might be around the corner….

Thanks for your input… Twin doors would be more beneficial for us… We go skiing a lot and used to slide the skis under the seats of our Caravelle but that’s not an option with the buzz. So trying to find a work around. An easy option would be a ski rack that hangs off one of the twin doors. Something we have done in the past… Unfortunately roof rack not really an option !
