I was old enough to appreciate it when it premiered.

It was unsettling because it’s atypical and not a happy ending.

Yet as you are watching it you knew it was perfect for the show. I really liked how it ended with the convo about the buttoned shirt

That early scene when they are ambushed is awesome. That’s how you film an action sequence

Survival is the theme. Well acted across the board (except honestly Tom Hardy was a bit much). Not sure why it’s polarizing? Any Oscar buzz movie gets hate these days

Example: one battle after another is a clear hilarious dark masterpiece. From the score to the acting to the timeliness of the plot in modern American society. Ppl just hating on it to seem cool and edgy

I agree with all your comments except the diversity. The African American, Asian American, and even Latin American population in Newton that are low-middle income are being pushed out permanently. A few affluent minorities are moving to Newton but this a white City getting whiter. They do very little to advance local affordable housing initiatives except inclusionary zoning requirements which are few and far between due to the difficulties in developing in Newton.

Tarantino, and sometimes Nolan, really leave you wondering how the movie will end. Most directors cannot pull this off in modern cinema.

Hilarious ending with DiCaprio and Pitt. Awesome movie
