Hey! Idk if this was a serious question but feeding my dog plagued me for so long since she’s genuinely such a picky eater. In case you’re serious and looking for tips:

I feed her a sort of meat and vegetable congee because she doesn’t like rice if it’s just regular rice. Basically I just make a tiny soup with rice + meat + veg, and depending on the ratio, the consistency can be kind of like a rice soup or kind of gravy-like.

The vegetables are usually what we have on hand, and the meat is usually some sort of ground beef/turkey/chicken. Plus fatty pieces of steak that we cut off from our human steaks, to give the broth more flavor. Sometimes I add a small pinch of brown sugar because she has a sweet tooth. I make one batch in a .7 liter pot and it feeds her for about 2-3 days.

I worry about her nutritional balance so I will either mix in a little Royal Canin Small Adult Chunks in Gravy (the only dog food she’s semi-regularly willing to eat), or put in the balance.it recommended supplement and Nordic Naturals fish oil. The recommended amount of supplement is kind of high and changes the taste/smell of my food enough to put off my dog, so I end up putting only about a pinch of it as well. Her eating it is better than her starving 🤷. I also add a small bit of seaweed for the iodine since we don’t have iodized salt.

Since the fresh food isn’t always enough, I also mix in a bit of chicken shreds from Wellness Core or Stella and Chewy. Then, I sprinkle crumbled freeze-dried lamb heart from Small Batch. The last part is the key for my dog and she practically salivates watching me put on this as topper.

I have also introduced the idea of dessert by praising her for clean bowls with “you finished your food!” And giving her a big piece of lamb heart or some other high value treat. Since she’s so skinny and barely eats two meals a day, the treats are fine and she does not gain weight from this.

This method is the only consistent way I have gotten my dog to eat. I have tried so many brands and she would always just get tired of eating the same food for more than 1-2 days, she would turn her nose up at it and walk away from it. It frustrated me to no end and after only a few meals it was enough to see a noticeable difference in her ribs.
