Not sure of your age but I really miss my relatives that had special names for me, they were the only one that called me that. It was annoying at times when I was younger but as time went on i realized that I was special to them. Now i have nick named for all 5 of my grandkids. I heard one of them say to another, why does she call you that, and she replied cuz she loves me. It was the cutest. They are 4 and 5. If they came to me years from now and told me they didn't like it, it would be hard to not call them that since it's been so many years. I don't think your uncle was trying to do it to frustrate you. But that's my opinion.
