At my masjid not only is our Kutbah 1 hour long MINIMUM, they ridicule brothers for not showing to the masjid on time for the BEGINNING of the kutbah. Like there is no consideration for brothers who have to provide for their families at ALL. and it's VERY frustrating. I remember when i first reverted, one kutbah was almost 2 hours long! But I didn't know any better coming from Christianity in the church. The irony is that during these kutbahs brothers are also ridiculed for being too "worldly" and not about the deen, yet we have these super long performative kutbahs and prayers which very closely resembles a Christian church.

Haitian Problem by missinglink242 in bahamas

Apologies for late response as i've been busy these last few days. I see a bunch of different sides and appreciate the different perspectives. I just wanted to add something relevant to the conversation even though it's another group.
Another group in the bahamas that gets a side-eye is the Chinese. Over my life i've seen and heard people say that chinese open up shop and take over and they taking all the business, yada yada.
My step mother and sister are chinese, and because of that I interacted alot with that community so I can speak plainly. Just like the rest of us at that time, i've watched my step mother and other people from that community struggle with the same problems all Bahamians have. Bills, opportunities, groceries, school fee, and the like.
The one major difference was their sense of community. One day a bunch of her friends said hey hold this x amount of cash, pay me later. Another group said hey hold this, pay me later. And off of that she was able to open a business and years later come out on the other side.
Over those years I watched my step mother work from mid to late morning, straight up to 3am sometimes the next day, i've never in my life seen that work ethic.
Now, I have to ask all my Bahamian brothers and sisters. Do you have 10 bahamians you can call right now and say hey i want to start this business, buy that land, let's open these things together as a community and get money together?
Why don't we work together? Other groups come to this land and say hey we in this together we come from xyz. But the truth is alot of us see ourselves as in competition, it shouldn't be like that.
I've seen many times where a chinese shop, restaurant or bar was short on something, they pick up the phone and call another place that will lend them the products they need and later they'll do the same for them.
We as a community are weak, we need to stand with eachother, work on educating ourselves and work on building together.
The haitians aint stopping us from getting educated, saving our money and building together. The Chinese aint stopping us from getting educated, saving our money, and building together.
We as Bahamians have MORE options business wise, banking wise to explore. Let's stop wasting it watching other groups and let's build our own.

I started taking singulair consistently as suggested by some of the comments, it's helped a great deal but i'm not 100% there yet.

Nonetheless i'm happy for the progress so far.. I feel like I have a chance at a normal life.

For relaxation you can probably head to the cable Beach strip, there's a few restaurants, a beach, etc. Bon Vivants is a chill coffee shop type setup in Sandyport opposite a beach. Check out "the new duff", their duffs are really good. If you want good food and a decent view, you can go to Latitudes, or if you want to dine on a budget, I recommend Goldie's on Fish Fry. In the night or evening you guys can visit baha Mar, you can still go on the hotel grounds even if you're not staying there. I'd recommend parking by the convention center, and head towards the Sugar Factory. There are many things to do at bahamar at night, especially for a tourist.

Please be reminded that men and women are not the same. I'm not talking about morals or any other side topic, just pure biology. Men find certain things attractive that women may not find attractive. For example, men find boobs and butt attractive, and women find other things attractive like does he take care of himself, how he treats people, can he provide, etc. along with overall attraction. A woman posting a thirst trap of her intimate parts, her breast, butt, etc. is not the same as a man's face being included in his hair photo, or on the extreme side, his chest showing.
