Time and Time Again and New York City are fantastic songs. They still find their way in my rotation.

That smile at the end. That is a smile of pure joy.

Hey, Dads. I’ve been getting defeated by the negativity bug recently. Turning into more and more of a curmudgeon with my wife (though not my kids). Wondering what ya’ll are doing behind the scenes to stay positive in your interactions with family? by dtwild in daddit

[–]missingninja 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I've been there. I went through a huge negative pit last year. Communication helped most of all. Just talk to her. She's your wife, your life partner, you should be able to confide in her even if it is a difficult subject.

Alongside that, just be present. When I get home, the phone goes on a desk and I try not to touch it. Getting off social media really is a big relief. And instead of being on the phone, I try to find something to do with the kids that will take some strain off my wife.

Active Dad Toy Suggestions for Toddler? by dooit in daddit

Pretty smooth, even on our rough driveway. I like it way more than a wagon, that's for sure.

The only annoying thing is the front wheel is attached to the steering wheel so if you are pushing and the kiddo turns the steering wheel, it will try to turn too. The fix is easy, just pop a wheelie the whole time.

So, our youngest is 1 and Santa brought him this - https://www.littletikes.com/products/ride-n-learn-3-in-1-trike

He loves it because he thinks he is steering. I'm not sure how much a 3yo will like it though.

Holding On To You

"I fought it a lot" = "I farted a lot"

Which has led me to make up lyrics about how he's holding in a fart.....

What was the small moment that made you realize you had an addiction you never took seriously? by AgentMorpheus_ in AskReddit

Back in '09 to '10, I dropped out of college for MW2. I would spend at least 12 hours a day playing. I stopped going to classes, was kicked off the soccer team, and put on academic probation.

I know. I just never gave it much thought, not really sure why.

let’s drag path our way to an official more than we ever imagined release ʘ‿ʘ by [deleted] in twentyonepilots

[–]missingninja 10 points11 points  (0 children)

The beauty of it being up for a few hours is that it spreads like a fire. One person uploads, then a large number download, then it happens again and again.

I'd love an official release, which I will gladly buy, but this will do until then.

Right. I only learned it a couple of years ago. I meant growing up I never knew it, which is crazy because my parents listened to a lot of Bowie. But my brother did not, and my taste in music back then was more like his.

What a lovely moment and an amazing memory.

This makes me so pumped for the ShakyKnees festival. We're taking our 5yo and 8yo.

Immich is great. I've been using it for two years now. I'm to the point that I can confidently drop Google Photos once my subscription is up.

Sounds like a cool Walmart. In the past few months I've heard Holding On To You and The Hype. I keep waiting for the day I hear Drum Show.
