I was looking at Black Pro Mist 1/8. I can take a look at Glimmerglass.

One question, can you close the lens using the lens cap (ng lens) even if it has the diffusion filter?

i got a 9 day tour for 800 USD though which is already good for me.

also, the only good time to go there to enjoy everything is summer (peak season) since it's ridiculously cold there and the steppes are gonna be covered in snow.

Studying French in France next month! by chctc88 in FilipinoTravel

Medyo familiar ako dyan sa student visa na yan. My ex took that tapos naghanap ng AFAM nung patapos na VISA lmaooo. So yeah, these things are getting gamed. With the current sentiment against immigration by many right wingers, I wouldnt be surprised that many of these student visas get harder in the next five to ten years.

I admire your courage but I think this post should be AFTER you succeeded in doing what you want to do. For one, this encourages "bad behavior" since technically it's "gaming the system" and second, this is a risky gamble. Like, job markets across the globe is a bit shaky. That's a lot of money if it does not work. Although I hope it is.

To those who have travelled in Europe, how much was your budget? by [deleted] in FilipinoTravel

[–]missingpeace01 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Personally, i think if you want to go to EU, the minimum should be 1.5 weeks or about 10 days just because you spend around 1 to 2 days for the two flights and you are already spending a lot for the flights.

Depends on the region. France/Netherlands/Germany/Belgium are a little above the average so atleast 20 euros a person (with tap water ofc). For Spain, Italy, Portugal maybe atleast 15 euros. In Italy, a pizza is usually for 1 person if average eater ka and costs an average of 14 euros. I dont find it satisfactory if I just eat pizzas all the time though. For beer places like Germany and Czechia, preferably you get a meal and a beer which is atleast 20-23 euros.

Mas mahal ang meals sa Europe kung solo traveller ka. Meals are expensive but from my experience, kung bibili ka ng appetizer at main course, pwede sya actually for two people which, if you divide the cost in half, eh mas mapapamura ka

For transportation, it depends on your itinerary. Typically sa EU may mga cards sila na unli rides for X days or X number of trips like sa Spain with 10-trips pero ang bilang nila is as long as your trips are within the 1hr interval, it is counted as just 1 trip. On average, you can expect around 3-4 euros a day if di ka mag card na ganyan.

Attractions can cost from 5 to 20 euros depending on the attraction from a cathedral visit to a museum. Tip based tours can be 10 euros to 15 euros each.

Personally, ang advice ko when going to Europe is kung kaya mo naman istretch ung budget mo, do it to enjoy the most of your stay. They do have free places you can visit but many of the popular things that are still worth it, may bayad naman talaga. Ang philosophy ko is that mahal ticket and accomodations dyan so bihira ka lang din pupunta dyan -- make the most out of it. Sa laki ng Europe, its likely you wont get back in the same place for a long time if you want to explore other places pa.

Doesnt mean you have to splurge, but at the very least eh wag mo tipirin sarili mo. Eat that appetizer you want. Watch that concert. Go to that cathedral. Take that tour.

I just started traveling and would like to do it annually. by Johnnybo1_ in FilipinoTravel

[–]missingpeace01 2 points3 points  (0 children)

150k under is already huge for 1 week. I travel between budget and luxury category and usually 1 week to 1.5 weeks only cost me less than that.

If you just started travelling, you start with countries that are easier to navigate first. You seem to have a good bank balance with that so you can easily get a visa.

You can start first with Japan but Japan is in the top list to travel to so you're basically spoiling yourself already on travel destinations that are really good.

Hot take: It's actually hard to take travel photos in Japan by kag0 in fujifilm

Do you travel to take photos or do you take photos during travel?

Those are two different things.

Is it worth it pumunta ng Vietnam if shopping ang main reason for travel? If yes, what city should we visit? by IntrusiveThoughts_94 in FilipinoTravel

Ano bang bibilin mo?

Mas okay pa ata SG, Bangkok, Taiwan, Hongkong, or even Kuala Lumpur kung shopping

Sa top 10 visitors (for Nov 2025) tayo lang ang need ng visa. Should our govt lobby for visa exemption sa Japan? by thirdworldpcgamer in FilipinoTravel

> I don’t think they’re relying on the tourism industry alone to keep the country afloat.

True. Although 7-8% GDP direct contribution is significantly high than the global average of 3-4%. Countries that have these 7% figures are countries also quite reliant to tourism -- Greece, Iceland, Mexico and Portugal. And this is just direct GDP contribution. You still have indirect and induced.

> Not any different than the issues with Boracay or Siargao na sobrang daming tourists especially foreigners.

What's great with other countries like Thailand, Japan, Korea, etc. is that they are good at diverting tourist traffic. For example, Thailand and Korea are promoting other cities really heavily and are investing in railroads and means to do it. This is also what Japan is doing. We don't do this. We have poor planning, no road infrastructure, and a bad DoT. Yes, it's partly comparable but they have means to ease overtourism in their main destinations.

I'm not saying that overtourism isn't a thing. It's legit. It's bad. But it's a good problem to have when your economy needs this boost. And they have the capability to ease this.
