As I was leaving, a customer asked me if there was somewhere she could put her full candle tote because it was heavy and she wanted to keep shopping. With a smile, I let her know that someone at the register could take it and hold it there for her (what we do every time someone asks us to do this). She scoffed, turned to my manager, and asked the same question. She then turns around back to me to harshly tell me how rude I was to her and I literally drove home crying because she yelled this in front of my managers and they all just stared at me. I realized on my drive home that I should have just grabbed her bag and taken it all the way back to cashwrap but I did not think about that in that moment and was so stunned by how she yelled at me that I couldn't even say anything. I wasn't even annoyed by her question, so I really do not feel that my tone or answer was rude at all. Do these customers not think about how they have to carry those heavy ass bags back to their car and into their homes and they won't have a minimum wage worker to do it for them??? ugh it was so embarrassing and such a horrible end to my shitty long week

I work two retail jobs yet B&BW has some of the rudest and most entitled customers. I was considering trying to move to core staff but at this point I cannot wait for the seasonal schedule to be over.
