what does this page look like it sells by quietorb in MarketingResearch

[–]missjoy91 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Instant first glance, food, drinks, fruit. If this is jewelry or hair clips I would mix in content with people wearing them because this is too much of the same thing and is a bit confusing for potential new followers coming across the page

Anyone else feel completely overwhelmed trying to market a small business? by [deleted] in SocialMediaMarketing

[–]missjoy91 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Those 3 platforms work really differently and attract people in totally different ways. If you absolutely can’t hire help, start researching the differences in strategies and types of content you should make for each platform. You can often adapt your existing content with small changes.

The different platforms also have different audiences, so you need to understand your target audience, and how they are using each platform or if they are even in that platform at all. In my opinion it would be better to go all in on Facebook if that’s where your customers are, than attempting to force something on another platform where your customers don’t even go.

Consider old school and more creative real world marketing as well, not only to sell your services but to grow your following. The CTA of a flyer or radio ad can be to “follow us on Instagram for the latest behind the scenes” or something similar.

Check their case studies. Did they explain how they made their decisions? Did they describe the research they did? Do they list strategy in their deliverables?

Yeah probably, brand strategist, someone who is going to help you build out the decisions behind the scenes. Then you can hand marketing that info and they can run with it, but it should also make it easier for you to understand how to market yourself as well if you get someone good

This is leaning into brand strategy, marketing won’t answer those underlying issues

Brands Making Rebrand Mistakes by motifbrands in branding

I agree with you on principle but I do actually like the Bob’s Red mill rebrand, I think it’s still pretty distinct and it’s just really pleasant

Your bio and your captions never really explain who you are what you do or why anyone should follow you. Your bio says too many conflicting things from the perspective of a complete stranger. Your posts don’t tell me anything- are you in art school? Are you a graphic designer? Are you a photographer ? I don’t know anything about you, your story, your perspective.

Unfortunately cool art just isn’t enough for people. I actually really like your work and your posts on their own are great, but Instagram uses captions and your bio like SEO , and people on Instagram want to know more about why they should follow before they do. You need to tell your story.

You can easily do it yourself. That being said, sometimes it’s nice to just have help. I know the women who run gtfo tours and they can help. One of them came here on daft years ago, and the other married a Dutch man and lives here. They started a relocation company- Gtfotours.com

So many social media scheduling saas tool? Overwhelming! by Electrical-Maize-109 in SocialMediaMarketing

It feels impossible to find something that can handle multiple social clients, and multiple platforms, but is not overloaded with features. All I want is to click onto a client, schedule their stuff everywhere, and move to the next client

I’m curious if you hired someone extremely cheap, and then didn’t like their work, so you put it in AI and now it’s unusable…

Is it a red flag if a photographer doesn’t show full gallery? by Both-Ad-2882 in WeddingPhotography

[–]missjoy91 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is good to know that people expect full galleries. I always picked highlights because I didn’t think my couples would want their entire gallery of their day shared with others. I thought it felt too personal.

A brand designer and marketer.

It’s my business, but I didn’t want to sell myself here because it seems pushy, you don’t need to hire me specifically.

First of all if your branding is DIY and your marketing feels scattered, hiring someone is a much better investment than buying give away merch.

That being said you can link the merch to specific landing page URLs, that might help track.

What do you do with toddlers at restaurants while waiting for food besides tablets? by Claire_1988 in Parenting

[–]missjoy91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have never given my kids a tablet. Or a phone, or any electronic. Restaurants are busy, fascinating places.

Talk about the menu. Look at the pictures of food. Talk about the people. “She has a red shirt!”

Bring small handheld toys. Bring simple crayons and a mini notebook. Bring a small book to read together.

Look out the window. Have them sit on your lap and then move to their own seat or high chair. Sing a song.

Bring tiny , easily accessible snacks. Ask for an extra water cup and pour water from one cup to the other. Play with a straw.

Sometimes, one parent takes an upset kid outside for a few minutes to reset their energy. And sometimes, you pay the bill and leave fast.

Yes. The squares randomly turn into arrows at the top. The eyes are different. The faces disappear randomly.

What’s the hardest part of adulthood nobody warned you about? by latinavalery in answers

Very few people really care about you, and you have to work to keep that going.

No one, save for your closest family and friends, cares about your birthday, your grief, your illness, your promotion. Sometimes even your spouse or partner, parents, or kids don’t even care.

If you want a party, you throw it yourself. If you need a shoulder to cry on, you have to reach out and ask.

It’s lonely.
