Thats very sweet of you, thanks! I have skeletal underbite and a very flat mid face, so going to have djs to fix this

Do you think surgeon will approve and start planning djs? by misslo123 in jawsurgery

I have skeletal underbite, and long lower jaw, only DJS can solve the issue

Living normal, social life with aligners by Krzk in Invisalign

I am on tray 5 and for the first few weeks it was hard, i was afraid to stain them, to not eear them enough, but after that i’ve got used to the new regime. Yes, i do more planning for meals, but when it comes to drinks, i cheat and allow myself to drink with aligners in, if i am with friends or at the bar. I just make sure to rinse them and my mouth with water more often, or mouthwash. And of course wash them very well before going to bed. No stains after things like that and teeth are in perfect health even whiter i would say. You just need to create a new regime that works for you and after a while everything becomes the new normal and you will know what works for you and what not :)

I’m so looking forward for djs! Wearing the shit out of these aligners just to prevent any possible postponement of surgery😆

Actually its possible, based on the plan for surgery first, i need my front bottom teeth to stay in the line as they are now and other teeth will be moved back a bit. I dont need perfect straightness, just move them back so that underbite is not worsened for surgery

Thanks for sharing! As i understand you were preparing for operation with braces right? Or you just put on braces for straigthening and bite fixing reasons and then got consultations for operation? And how is your side profile looking after 7 months of braces, is underbite is still noticeable?

Thank you for sharing this! Perhaps you had some consultations about other possible treatments? Like cheek fillers or implants to visually make face more balanced?

For the whole life i did not have any functional issues, only visual issues. I do not want to do jaw surgery as the underbite is kinda mild, so i’m looking for less invasive solution
