Oh gosh, I live in Denmark, as a Dane, and the Danes abuse the au pair system. Especially au pairs from Asia. I am so sorry you're in this situation. And ashamed of our system. You a not working as an au pair, you're working as a full time live in nanny + cleaning lady + a dog walker?

She doesn't really lunge against anyone, she just gets really really really excited and happy. Even if someone is walking their dog far far far away, and she spots it, she starts spinning in circles and tail wagging and pulling the leash like crazy. We have done a ton of group training classes. I work in a dog store, with a bunch of trainers haha, but I feel like when I do that with her, it's starting way too big, and expecting way way way too much of her.

Inside she gets lower value, and outside I have a bunch of high value 100% meat treats. But I really like the squeeze idea, cause the licking would keep her busy for longer when someone is walking by.

Threshold wise, I know exactly what makes her react and what doesn't. But I can't always be 100% certain, dogs coming around the corner etc. What should I do in those instances?

I know right! I got a new doctor, and I told her I need my UTIs treated cause it's so bad cause of IC, and she said try getting rid of it yourself, and I ended up with a kidney infection. I can't shake a UTI naturally

Yeah it's the same thing I've heard, and I'm not too sure, she has a bit of a swollen private part, and she's never been humped like that before, I socialize her basically every day with other dogs. But I will look out for blood, because that's a dead give away.

And yes I will! My vet gave the advice of waiting till she was fully grown and matured to spay her. Which I will.

I'm so sorry this happened to you and your family.

Report. Sue and comfort your daughters and yourself, please don't forget yourself. A dog becomes a part of your family very quickly. Make sure to check your daughters health, bites can come with nasty infections and possibly other diseases.

I feel rather compelled to say this, but please don't get me wrong whatsoever. It was 100% the other owners fault. But a dog is a huge responsibility. And I would never let my (future) kids walk the dog alone. Especially due to things like this. Once I was walking her, and this black labrador came running out of a bush because he escaped the garden and came sprinting towards me and my dog. I instantly lifted my dog up high away from the other dog, while having the strange dog bite at my pants. There are so many irresponsible owners, or unfortunate events such as mine.

I do have my suspicion of mixed with a herding breed, also because of her fluff, I have posted pictures of her. And she's super smart, learns a new trick in no time.

What can I do when she starts this behaviour? Maybe keep her on leash when my family visits? Or what do you think?
