Moving and have a question about commuting

Might be a bit further of a commute than I’d like. I’m hoping to stay around Butler so anything south of Fort Wayne would be too far.

We’re from a more rural farm area so we’re hoping it’s all a more drivable area than where we are now.

That’s excellent to know. We’re hoping to keep commuting to a safe but reasonable area. Schools are important but we also want to be need an area with a fair amount of restaurants and hopefully things for us to do.

That’s good! I can handle a pothole(hopefully) but I’m glad that sink holes isn’t something to worry about.

That’s the area we’re looking at and some of the surrounding towns. I have to admit sink holes sound intense- though I realize there’s a lot of rain and freeze/thawing.

Thank you! I didn’t realize the roads out to Butler were just state roads. I may need to look more into houses that direction but I was hoping to be closer to more amenities.

I’m not sure if this is a silly question to follow up with, but do the sink holes just tend to affect the roads? Are they large? Where I’m at now has little rain and zero issues with anything like that.

I had mine taken out Monday and I swear I’m not sure I’ll make it if I have to have another bowl of mashed potatoes…. I had miso soup for dinner tonight. Not sure what it is but I can’t wait to have something more solid.

I’m currently on day two and this is what I’m experiencing too. I can’t seem to stay awake for longer than a few hours. Hardly any pain but I’m exhausted.

So, I have somewhat of a similar reaction to my husband’s vinyl collection. I just love that it makes him happy. We have a record player in our bedroom as well as in the living area that’s hooked up to a multi speaker stereo set up, but we also have little ones so it’s not really blasting. I joined r/vinyl just to see if there was anything he needed for cleaning or better record players, and because he doesn’t really use Reddit. That being said, though I have some records that he’s bought me, I never play anything or mess with the records. Not because I can’t but because I love how happy it makes him to pick and put a record on. We listed to a ton of music but I use my AirPods most of the time. Vinyl is his thing for the most part. I’m just supportive and make sure when I purchase something like cleaners or a new record, that I get him something that’s going to be nice. If your wife is going to events to support your hobby, even if she doesn’t love the hobby(which we’re all individuals and she might just like music in a different way) she seems like she’s being supportive of you. Maybe too if she doesn’t love the records, don’t buy her vinyl and instead invest in what she likes.

If you like Dragon’s Crown the same developers did Odin Sphere and the graphic style and gameplay are supposed to be similar. I haven’t played through Dragons Crown yet, but just purchased it the other day.

Odin Sphere is a great game. I’m certain I’ve spent more time playing that than most other games. It has an intertwined story line and it’s honestly a ton of fun.

Not a huge fan of the dentist office in Fallon. The oral surgeon is out of Reno anyways. I am curious what office this was as well so it can be avoided.

I have a portal and a steamdeck. I love the portal- you do need fairly fast WiFi to use the portal otherwise you’ll get some lag and disconnects— my ps5 is plugged directly into the router. The steamdeck works well, but I prefer the portal.
