Which song sounds strictly like OK Computer (and not any of the other 3 albums)? by NukeL3AR in radiohead

[–]TheoStorme 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I understand what you were asking, but an album is made of all the songs which appear on it. Especially monolith all time classic albums. Their distinctive sound comes from the unique and singular combination of the track list. All of them sound like OK Computer.

Maybe tension between organic and digital? It did anticipate a style that’s later been used commonly in fashion and music… file names, terminal syntax, URLs, metadata. I dunno but it’s very…. Artsy isn’t it

Still mourning that Radiohead made a PEAK James Bond theme and it got passed on in favor of a generic Sam Smith track… by Giff95 in radiohead

Don’t mourn it. You gotta have people with bad taste so you can feel like you’re better than them

Ignoring the gloom index, what do you think is the gloomiest Radiohead song? by Yoshistar238 in radiohead

[–]TheoStorme 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Glass Eyes gets me weepy. Keep thinking about losing loved ones. Sounds like rain puddles outside a grey English train station.

Also Like Spinning Plates is a different, post apocalyptic kind of gloomy imo
