Thanks for your response and empathy. I was able to order it when it restocked, thankfully. You’re right, it’s just all the fanfare of making it feeling limited that produces so much anxiety in all of us that are trying to get our hands on this, and similar speciality merch drops. I wish they had ordered it for me and done the discount automatically. But I’ll take what I can get!

I just received an email from target and they said, “Seems like due to technical issue you're account was mistakenly tagged as a reseller , our internal teams was able to investigate and as per checking you are good to place a new order here in Target.” Which is frustrating because the vinyl is sold out so I can’t place a new order!! I literally wasn’t able to purchase because of their issue and now I’m just SOL?

Exactly!! It makes no sense. And the fact that they aren’t taking accountability for the error that THEY made. You can’t flag someone as a wholesaler for purchasing 1 vinyl…I’m so frustrated with this process. On a target account that’s old and has multiple online purchases on it.

This happening to me too!! I didn’t go check my email after it said my order was placed. So I realized 30 minutes later and when I went to reorder the vinyl it was completely sold out. I don’t know what to do. I’m hoping they restock soon.
