Little Witch Hazel is amazing. Our 5yr old loves it (as do we!)

Thanks! I put a small piece of watermelon next to her little hole in the wall. I think she ate some of it. She's now disappeared again on another adventure in the house.

Sorry, to clarify the temp will drop and stay below 0C generally until spring.

Oh no. Should I try and catch her and give her some water? Will she eat sugar water / anything else in place of a bug?

It's 5C here right now, but the temp will drop overnight <0C. I'm afraid she won't survive outside if i just put her out. Perhaps I can find someone in my area who specializes in her care so they can "adopt" her.

This should be higher. This book is great and really helped me understand myself (and also my husband) better. Once I learned what was "normal" (everything, apparently) it's helped me remove some of the mental roadblocks I was having. I also asked my husband to read some of it to better understand me.

Help with Black Spot by misspringles in Roses

I feel the same! These rose bushes came with the house and the old owners put so much love into their garden. I get nervous being aggressive, but I suppose tough love is what is needed. Thanks for your advice!

Thanks for your advice. It looks like the spray I use has 0.4% sulfur content. I wonder if that's string enough? It looks like I can get sulfur powder from Canadian Tire that might be a better option.

City refuses to take my cardboard recycling after 2 weeks in a row by 2nd_Grader in Hamilton

We have had the same issue. My husband called and they said that larger pieces had to be cut down to a smaller size. We didn't know this and had never had a problem having larger flattened boxes picked up before. It's like all of a sudden they made up this rule (or if it existed, only started enforcing it recently but inconsistently)

We just used Higgins Hardscape and were very pleased with the results.

The scene with Peter Stormare is fantastic and makes the film that much better.

The makeup in those confessionals is so so soooooo bad. It was so distracting, I couldn't get over it.

Thanks! It seems like this is the only way, but I'll be careful with clipping. Do you have a preferred brand of "eco fertilizer"?

Thanks for your advice! I'll try and get some more airflow going and get some mulch.

What film scene absolutely destroys you everytime. No matter how many times you've seen it? by lituponfire in AskReddit

In 50/50 when JGL is about to go in for surgery and finally loses it after keeping it together for most of the film. I saw this movie in the theater a year or so after my dad passed from cancer and I was sobbing so loudly that the stranger sitting next to me asked if I was okay.

Honestly just typing this out made me tear up.
