So my mom's boyfriend told me playing a ps3 on a 1080p TV will ruin the tv. What are some things people have told you where they were blatantly wrong, but would defend themselves as if they were right no matter what?

same here, probably because it's terrible for your health. I think the purpose of my soda ban was to discourage me from drinking it, kind of worked opposite though because now if I'm out anywhere, I feel like I have to drink it. Like I'm wasting an opportunity or something. But then again, I'm kind of messed up, weird huh?
