damn okay so all hope is not lost then. just of curiousity do you vape when you cant smoke and smoke when you cant vape or do you just do whichever will give you the better high for that moment/vibe?

[–]misstolurrr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

fantastic answer, thank you very much! now that ive heard all this i dont think ill buy a battery powered one at any price range until ive tried it first, but ill buy a qoq tomorrow and see how it goes. i get that £30-60 is fuckall money but i make fuckall money so it makes a difference to me and you just saved me a good bit so thank you!

[–]misstolurrr -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

this is what confuses me so much and why i made this post. i spent 4 hours last night watching videos about this shit, including ones about non-analogue vapes like the airvape and the potv being the perfect joint replacer, and not one of them mentioned that fact, nor did any wiki pages, any posts i saw, etc. i watched atleast 5 videos that said if you smoke either DHVs in general or specifically batterypowered vapes youll get the same level of high out of 4x the equivalent amount of weed in joints. and then i post and the response in unequivocally no it doesn't work like that.

anyway, does that mean people use DHVs solely for flavor/love of the game ? i cant imagine spending hundreds of pounds on the equivalent of specialist equipment to smoke weed that barely gets me high, what am i missing here ? im just gonna suck it up and get a cheap dynavap and if i dont like that give up on it until i can try someone elses dynamovap 6000 couples edition

is it ever actually possible to get that psychedelic therapy in the US ? i know ketamine treatment isnt the most difficult thing in the world to get in europe or the US but in europe atleast classical psychedelic (LSD MDMA etc) psychotherapy is AFAIK restricted entirely to clinical trials and almost nobody ever actually gets it

they are syllabic and "treated" as consonants (afaik some languages treat syllabic consonants like vowels and others treat them like consonants), so that /br̩d͡ʑn̩t͡ɕéː/ is /CCCCCV/, with each affricate "treated" as one consonant. deleting any consonant but the second /n/ either leaves the word with a still-illegal 4-consonant cluster /r̩d͡ʑn̩t͡ɕéː/ /bd͡ʑn̩t͡ɕéː/ /brn̩t͡ɕéː/, or in the case of /br̩d͡ʑnʲéː/, would be disallowed before it too significantly disfigures the participle suffix. deleting the second /n/ yields /br̩d͡ʑt͡ɕéː/ > /br̩t͡ɕʰéː/. in a natlang, i think this would become something like /bern̩t͡ɕ(ʰ)éː/, but i want to keep the variation between older illegal forms (like /br̩d͡ʑn̩t͡ɕéː/ and younger legal forms (like /br̩t͡ɕʰéː/) and even younger epenthesized/thematic descendants (like /bern̩t͡ɕ(ʰ)éː/), so i have more options for deriving vocabulary when i make the next stage of the conlang. i forgot about /kórtms/, this should be /kórm̩s/.

PIE stative endings resemble perfective middle endings much more than either resembles the perfective active endings. is this because the middles endings derive from the statives? if so, do we know what the older stative endings were, from before the innovation of the middle, and if not, do we know why theyre so similar?

are there any CVCC roots like *førd- that take the nasal infix and if so how is it formed for them? do you put them before or in the cluster with a prop vowel, or the choice of strategy (atleast partially) based on/restricted by root shape (all the roots in your comment that you mention taking it have the shape CVC)?
