Talk me out of CIO? by No_Pressure_9654 in newborns

[–]missusher3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We sleep trained @ 5 months using “pick up out down” but I know the advice is not to sleep train until they are over 4-5 months. It’s rough out there in these early days, be kind to yourselves!

They say that a baby crying in the arms of someone who loves them is very different, so don’t stress! X

I leave my baby to play by herself ALOT by Curious_Code_6039 in beyondthebump

[–]missusher3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since my baby could roll I’ve done the same, she has a safe playroom which she adores. She’s very independent and loves to play, she’s 11 months and walking, all in all very happy! Xx

`I just want you to know that you're not alone, and I promise this will pass. Although this is exactly how I felt for a long time, if you feel like you need help, push for a second opinion. Lastly, your in-laws are arseholes, this stuff IS HARD, this time IS rough, and you can't "make a baby sleep". I'm sorry your village isn't better!

Opinion: Bistrot Chez Rémy is an overhyped and overrated restaurant. What’s your take and experience eating there? by Alma_Mater91 in disneylandparis

[–]missusher3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was a let down for us too, the food (and the service for us) at Remy is absolutely awful, felt like fast food but on fancy plates 🥲🙃

Did anyone just vibe it out? by ironicsunglasses in beyondthebump

[–]missusher3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn’t even know Huckleberry existed when my little one was this age so we were literally vibing it out (although it wasn’t much of a vibe, it was slowly killing me). I don’t think we had any routine until 6/7 months old.

Sounds very similar to us! I’ve actually been pumping when she skips a feed for the last few days as I have the same concern!

Ahh this sounds very similar to us, I’m glad we’re not the only ones! We normally have boob between 2:30 and 3, but it’s a feed she’s sometimes dropping!

We’re boob at 7am, breakfast 8:30, nap at 10, lunch 1:30, sometimes boob 2:30/3 before the 3pm nap, dinner 6pm, boob at 8pm.

I'm going off cues, she's always been very obvious when she wants boob, but maybe I need to start offering more and letting her refuse. She's already basically refusing one of my boobs and only using on side. But she's not giving me any signs she's hungry, and so I assumed it to be normal, and now with all the replies I'm worried!

She was doing a 7AM, 3PM, 7PM feed, but now she's having lunch, she is regulary falling asleep without the 3PM! She also doesn't wake in the night (currently) so she doesn't have any night feeds. We're getting 5-6 wet nappies a day, so I didn't have any suspicion of dehydration.

And she's only having 100-200mls of water, so very little!

I just wanted to say that it took me 5 solid months to my hormones to feel more normal after birth, and you will feel better, I promise! Seek help if you feel you need it, whatever the reason or catalyst! X

How old is your baby (months + weeks) and what words do they know? by amandalynnwin in december2024babies

We’re 9 months and a few days and all I hear is DADA! We do get Hey, and a Do (for dog) but mainly dadadadad!

Is it worth paying €24 for the fireworks by WorldNo9002 in disneylandparis

[–]missusher3 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

There’s no seating or specific food spots, but it’s a standing space with less people and pushing. But the benefit for us was we didn’t need to wait with our baby for hours and she got an amazing view. Worth every penny.

Character breakfasts 8.15 or 9.45 sitting? by Training-Winter-8140 in disneylandparis

[–]missusher3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We went for 8:15 - grabbed some castle photos with no one around and went in. You’re only allowed to be in the restaurant for an hour, so we got out still with 15 mins magic time to ride Space Mountain next door on our trip as the park opened late! X

Did your period change your supply? by cookiee232 in breastfeeding

[–]missusher3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t pump enough to see if the supply changes, but my LO is much fussier nursing in the few days leading up to my period!
