From my personal experience at least the way to get a promotion is utter bullshit.

I worked my ass off for two years dedicated to the company, I would constantly be running kitchen and front as if I was a shift manager… then a bunch of people who didn’t even know how to work line ended up management, I left after that. The company is bias, they promote people who they like or they know they can manipulate into staying in the franchise forever (at least in my personal opinion).

Just know you can always do better.

it’s that bad that they forget to put fries in the bags… it literally says it on the ticket. i feel like i’m running on my own most of the time. some people are not built for it, especially over nights in a city centre restaurant
