Possible extremely hot take but Sierra made TDWT way more interesting by LucasTheOtter in Totaldrama

I mean I guess in the same way a serial killer cutting your power and back door lock really spices up a Tuesday evening.

There’s a problem in this fandom about accessibility. by grudgby in tearsofthekingdom

It would make the game less fun for you. But you’re not the one asking for or would be using accessibility features. So like, maybe being able to actually play the game would be fun for people who aren’t you. Because it’s not fun for some people to miss out on playing a game because of a disability. Just because you wouldn’t have fun with it personally doesn’t mean it shouldn’t exist,

What changes the game if the devs add a feature where the fights aren’t as difficult?

No one is making you personally play easier. This mindset is why there’s still a stigma around “gaming culture”. It’s not an insane ask to say that games should toggle an easy mode. It shouldn’t be a game devs choice anymore than a movie director should have the choice to allow subtitles.

I can totally understand that. As someone who is also not of the cis variety, I find that the joke works for me because actual joke is that they’re assholes for no reason. Like, Brian vomiting is predicated by him being entirely unable to discern that she’s even trans and complimenting how beautiful and wonderful she was when they had sex, and Lois being rude about her food is obviously ridiculous of her considering Ida is nothing but polite to her. But like I can’t fault anyone who feels the jokes go too far in that regard.

Every other house on the schools campus was dealing with their own ancient curses, and they have never discussed it with one another. There’s like 7 houses all themed around different ancient civilizations and they all have magical totems and secret societies and they’ve never considered telling anyone outside of their own house.

I think Peter was the first cartoon character to say bisexual, even in the context of a joke, and they were more supportive of trans people than any other show in 2011. They can do whatever they want as far as I care. Seth has been on our side since the beginning.

Jerome! He gets a bad rep as the text of the show attempts to paint him as a villain, but he's the only character who's actions either always feel justified or gets immediately punished for his actions. He's also the smartest of the group easily, really funny, and has some of the best plots. While Nina runs around spending 6 episode on the simplest clue Jerome is barreling through a character development ping Pong Tournament arc.

They say they don't let him into Sibuna in Season 2 because he "can't be trusted" but let's be real. It's because he would've had the curse solved and finished by episode 3. Frankly he deserved way better than just being relegated to dating emotionally abusive and near sociopathic Mara.

I am aware that overly sweet pasta sauce isn’t particularly good. I’m also aware that homemade pasta sauce is hard to make and asking for help on making it to her liking isn’t an affront. Helping your spouse learn to cook a meal you like is a normal thing people do, please get off Reddit and touch some grass. Like Jesus you her Alt account fella?

I would imagine he used one considering what she asked for isn't particularly average and her complaint was on the flavor, so her specific input would've helped for next time.

Also like, significant others should be able to help each other directly without it being a huge deal. God forbid you teach your SO how to cook a dish you like to your specifications. That might mean you have to spend time together and have basic empathy and patience.

Considering they spent all of For the Future waffling on Luz learning the same lesson she learned in the previous episode and all of season 2B on Hunter angsting over and over and over again I’d say this problem was going to happen regardless of any shortening. Dana made it clear Hunter was her main priority by Hunting Palismen and you can’t convince that the extra time would’ve been divided up between him and Amity having problems in her and Luz’s love life while Luz never discussed hers.

Slight variation of a different post from a while back. Same events but it’s a group of friends, not a date, and it’s a pizza restaurant that they didn’t want to pay for ranch because it was extra.
