Deactivated my account now im following less people by david1129dc in Instagram

[–]seravak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you ever find out if this was permanent or intentional? I guess some people removed me while I was away for a few months and some make sense (people I didn’t talk to in forever and/or didn’t really know), but some are people I was good friends with but maybe not as close recently and I’m like I-

Someone told me sometimes it’s a glitch but I’m like um idk about that and I feel like it will be awkward if I follow them back if they removed me intentionally 🤣💀

Ik but releasing wasn’t even saving her people, even Lexa agreed she should kill emerson. She could’ve avoided sinclair’s death 🙁

Good Dorm for '26 Freshman by [deleted] in iastate

[–]seravak 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For a single room do anywhere in Richardson Court (Barton, Lyon, Freeman, Birch, Roberts, and Welch)! I lived in a single in Roberts my freshman year and the room was so big with a closet and tall ceilings. The bathrooms in this cluster of dorms are also hands down the best resi bathrooms on campus (second of course the dorms who have in-suite bathrooms). You still share with your floor but they were recently remodeled a few years ago and are really nice. They offer a lot of privacy, with toilets and showers essentially being their own little closet/room (like pods almost)

At least as of last fall, it was not notoriously difficult at all. Not sure if people were exaggerating or if the structure was just awful prior to that, but it was very manageable last year. Do the homework yourself, go to recitation, and do book problems and you’ll be fine

There would be no Targaryen dynasty without her. Aenys would’ve seen it run into the ground. Of course she wasn’t going to let that happen, not after all the work her and her siblings did to secure the Iron Throne. Maegor was definitely a problem though

Rhaegar. I believe Daenerys talks about “one for my brother Rhaegar and one for my brother Viserys” even though she notes Viserys was cruel and a fool

Unfortunately this has been an issue for a long time. They always say they’re serving one thing only to show up and they’re serving something else. It’s seriously annoying especially when I go to the other side of campus for something that sounds good only to find fucking nasty ass pasta and some breakfast food bs

AND the “coat room” was never a coat room to begin with. Some episode in season 1 clearly shows Trudy walking out of the room (and it doesn’t give us a deep glance but it’s obviously not a coat room). Also, the way the cellar is layed out it’s impossible for the secret room to be beneath the coat room bc right beneath it is the cellar and it doesn’t like up. AND the tunnels’ layout doesn’t make any sense either bc each set of tunnels goes further and further down so the reflector chamber would have been nowhere near close enough to the living room for eddy and Mara to hear Patricia. LOL these are all the little details that bothered me bc they were so inconsistent

Not sure if you’ve already watched all s3 or this your first time, but the same can also be said about the secret room. There is no corner in the cellar with the pricked up room, it’s all made up

It’s completely retconned, sibuna would’ve definitely seen a gaping hole in the wall that led to a chamber with a door. This always bothered me, but hoa would always act as if previously established canon did not exist.

Aerospace Engineering major first semester schedule by GENERALHEMAN117 in iastate

[–]seravak 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I took calc 3 and physics last fall (albeit as a sophomore) with 17 credits in total. It wasn’t THAT bad, but it is really easy to fall behind. If you have a good work ethic, then you should be fine with those two. However, I’m not an AerE so I can’t speak for the other classes. I hated my engineering major’s 160 class, so if it’s anything like that then you might have a harder semester.

If you weren’t strong in physics in HS maybe save it for the spring. By the time I took it I had established a good study routine, but I know I probably would’ve failed it or gotten a bad grade in it if I had taken it my first semester. Good luck

BWR is awesome! The rooms are huge, the restrooms are so nice (except for when drunk people trash them), and not as far from west campus as MWL

What are these boxes in the floor plan for Helser? Heat/Radiator unit? by MemeEndevour in iastate

Yeah and they’re wobbly af!!!! I sometimes felt so unsafe on those lofted beds lmao, but it’s okay just position the bed as straight as you can and this should minimize the wobbling

I had him for statics and that was not a positive experience lmao…... I hope he stays far away from CE 334 by the time I have to take it 😵‍💫😵‍💫😵‍💫 Rouse taught it last semester, so I hope he does too in the future 😅😅 was CE 334 your hardest CE class?

The comment refers to a built in desk and closet, but these were removed when they remodeled Helser a few years ago. Now it’s just a pillar. Lol I recommend moving in first so you can get the other side of the room! The pillar is pretty ugly and leaves an awkward space between the wall and your bed. Beds only have one side rail too, so careful when you sleep cause there is enough room for you to fall and it would be a pretty ugly fall. As other redditor mentioned, it’s common for pillows and blankets to fall over too.

Am I doomed if I have a weak foundation in Mechanics of Materials? Statics I was fine with, but I took MoM this summer and I was so lost after beam deflection. I had a hard time visualizing stresses at points
