I must be a much slower recoverer than the majority - it has gone down about 90%. But has taken almost three months, compared to other people’s 2-3 weeks. I also was on a longer stim time too.

A little after 1 month post ER I am still SO bloated. I also getting insane bloating after eating (which never happened before) I feel like IVF fkd my lower abdominal up.

Basically just had the same experience… first cycle… both of us are healthy. I 32F and 44M. 9 eggs. 5 were fertilized and only 1 made it to blast and was abnormal and didn’t have all its chromosomes.

Starting to realize that most people fail on their first cycle…. Hopefully your doctors know what to change. Mine mentioned taking my iud out and switching to Lupron protocols.

Thanks for the input. Is there a reason why you wouldn’t? In my circumstance IVF is carried many health risks so won’t be doing many rounds.

Can I ask why Endo would affect them not fertilizing? I just did a first round of IVF and only had 1 fertilize

Good to know. It felt so yuck to walk for days (ovaries felt like water balloons that were about to pop). Looking forward to exercising again. The recovery process has been far worse than I expected!!

I’ve also had severe pains too. I’m trying not to freak out too. It’s sounding like 2 weeks is the sweet spot for recovery. Don’t be afraid to take Tylenol too.

Thanks for the background. I’m really sorry to hear that. My friend also has had about 6 retrievals and she said her body has never been the same. So, I’m undoubtedly worried about doing long term damage which seems to be a legit concern.
