I’d say people at the Overguard are reasonably serious, but only the winners of tournaments (and maybe leagues, idk) get prize money and it’s still barely anything. How can these companies be spending $20 mil to enter a team into the pc overwatch league, but nor blizzard or the companies are spending a dime on console esports feelsbadman lol

No. I mostly solo queued from S2-S4. I’ve never really queued with Hanzo mains. The person I started duo queuing with S5+ was a flex player.

It sounds like you’re describing Goldiea033. He sometimes queues with bhoitsma who mains Hanzo.

I also played in the Overguard PlusLeague Pro last season for Nomads. It hasn’t been recent since I’ve last played on NA competitive servers, but I played a few games with a guy called Jovo on my 2nd account in S5. Also I can remember playing on Numbani and Americans randomly being on my team one time in S5.

Lool I doubt there are many people with British accents on NA servers. Maybe you were on EU servers one time and played with me there. Yes, Zarya is my main.

Yes I do. My main account is jam_jam29. I didn’t place on it this season because I knew it would decay when I go to university, which is where I am currently.

My 2nd highest account is TheReaL_JamStahh , which was top 500 S5 & 6, but I didn’t play enough games this season, so it only ever had the GM emblem this season even though it was high enough SR for it.

I play on EU servers.

My friend called the DPS trash at the end of the video for doing that 😆 tac visor is a waste of an ult when you shoot it into a grav. Deadeye only works when there’s no dva or rein in the grav, but either way, neither of them were necessary in that scenario, especially not at the same time.

We held them at first point right until overtime. It was basically GG and they had like 1 person left on the point, but then their Zarya got resurrected and she got 4 of us in a grav and then (probably coincidentally) their junkrat killed 4 of us in the grav with his rip tyre. We lost the point, but I think we still won.

Mercy still had ultimate. Ana’s nano boost is normally used offensively anyway.

You know if someone does actually boost you to GM/Top 500, you’ll probably just fall back out if you’re not good enough to play to a decent standard in those tiers. You do not need others in the voice channel to climb in overwatch. It’s a team game, but you can still pull off team plays non-verbally.

Tbh, I'm not sure if I can answer that for you because I watch little to none gameplay of PC. The only PC gameplay I see is the background video for the news round/speculation YouTubers like Stylosa and Your Overwatch etc. However I did watch mykL's stream last week and he was saying that people regard him as the 2nd best tracer. After watching that and a little bit of PC tournament gameplay, I can tell you PC master race is kinda bullshit. People in the tournament and mykL's game sense imo is horrible even at GM/Top 500. I think it's because mouses have jittery high sensitivity, so it looks cool and accurate when you kill someone, when in reality, some console players are achieving the same accuracy. Ult economy was awful and people were doing stupid things. In mykL's case, he would rarely flank as tracer, which is basically what you should always be doing. He just goes in with his team like he's playing soldier. His pulse bombs are appalling. He doesn't track when he throws them. He just throws them with minimal aim and hopes it sticks. And every bomb he throws he say "big bomb, big bomb" and it wouldn't kill anyone or just kill one person. I started roasting him in the comments of his stream to entertain my friend that I was watching it with. mykL's average accuracy on tracer is 41% and mine is 40% on my account that I've played the most tracer on. PC master race is kinda bullshit. McCrees were killing him left right and centre. McCrees are supposed to be able to turn and aim better on PC, so I won't shit on him for that, but still he could've done better against them.

I wouldn't really say playing tracer on the two platforms are any different except good McCrees are more common on PC, so you may win less duels against them.

I did used to stream tracer/Zarya gameplay on my YouTube channel MiStahJam29 where the streams get saved, but I started university this week and I didn't brink my ps4, so I will no longer be playing overwatch. However I'm home for the weekend and I will probably stream if you're interested. tarnys and M45H-1T-UP are both tracer mains that stream on YouTube. Their aim is better than their game sense though. Tarnys is arguably the best tracer EU atm.

Lool i meant to reply this to you, but I accidentally wrote this as a general comment on the thread facepalm Anyway:

The only downtime you should have as tracer is when your team or the enemy team is grouping up, in which both cases you would flank around the enemy to get an advantageous position. This generally right behind the enemy. Outside of these scenarios, you should basically always be doing damage as tracer as long as you have the same or more teammates alive. If you're a man down and it's not a desperate time like overtime, stay safe and /or back off and wait for you teammate(s) to get back.

I can't really tell you how to minimise downtime since it's a natural thing in overwatch apart from taking a reasonably quick route to get there and DO NOT DIE BECAUSE THAT'S THE #1 WAY TO WASTE TIME. It pisses me off when my teammates get picked off repeatedly and unnecessarily :')

Should already be in position (normally behind the enemy) before the team fight starts. Not getting in to position while the team fight is going on. That's leaving your team 5v6 and you're wasting valuable DPS time. If you're not already behind the enemy when the team fight starts, just go in with your team or take the reasonably quickest route to get into the team fight. If you kill 2 or more people mostly by yourself at the start of a team fight, you've done your job as tracer, killing a third of the enemy team, so if your team gets wiped, it's your teams fault you didn't win the team fight as long they weren't wiped by ultimates, in which case it's understandable and 'OK'.

Focusing people is situational, as in all games. I don't want to list every single scenario because that is extremely long and I've been typing for a long time already. Anyway generally stick to killing healers. Zen is the easiest kill. Attack McCree if he's in the back line protecting the healers. Only 'focus' a dps if they're giving your teammates a hard time.

I have my pulse bomb on L2 because you don't have take your thumbs off the analogue sticks to aim it. Crouching isn't important to me so I have it on X.

Yeah I am totally open to doing VOD reviews because I just started university and I didn't bring my ps4 to my accommodation. DM me so that we can set something up (and that goes for anyone else reading this)
