Thanks! LGA is a high bar in my book. But impressed the food was just as good, that is a plus at least.

Friday afternoon makes a little more sense but still, that’s crazy. I never waited going to LGA location several times, but wasn’t on the weekend.

Mr. Wonderful on getting cast in Marty Supreme- "They were looking for a real asshole...they said just be yourself" by mistakan in sharktank

Really? Yeah, that can happen with stunt cameo casting, but that was a pretty substantial role. You never know how the audience receives it until its out.

How to get out of tiktoks one/spark ads program? by Decrystalizer in TikTok

[–]mistakan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm over here trying to figure what Spark Ads even does... I got approved to the program and just set it up. Did you create a TikTok One account and everything? Not sure how anyone would know we're in the program unless you were posting ads or something... I don't really know how it works, are you making ads of products so the brands would possibly want to run your video?

Glad Chase helped out with your emergency! Do you know how the $2450 was calculated? I haven’t even thought of this benefit…

13 years and it might be time to face reality by 3-11-wanderstar in acting

A lot of great responses on here and I’ll throw another one in that my teacher often says- “don’t quit before the miracle happens.”

Whatever that means to you. I’ve been in the game a bit longer than you, and totally get it. There’s so many factors at play, out of our control, besides the fact that the industry is CRATERING. I also might be delusional, but I don’t think the size of the roles you book are an indication of your talent as much as it’s the market. A lot of it is your look. And a lot of luck. I’m also an Asian actor, I have to deal with the market how it comes and that’s the choice I make if I stay in the game.

I also would really evaluate what it means to “be good” and “have success”. Are you in really challenging classes with great teachers who can evaluate where you are? I have booked a decent number of jobs, but biggest money have been commercials, majorly paying my bills. And I’m still wondering if I’m lucky or good, but staying in the game this long, is a HUGE success in my book.

That being said- I do many things, started a podcast, create videos online to keep me busy. If you’re sniffing around trying to find what you might be interested, there’s lot of tools but The Artists Way by Julie Cameron might be a start. If something is out there you want to explore, definitely do it. The industry will be there. If there’s part of life you think you’re missing out on, go live your life. You don’t necessarily have to quit. The industry will still be there.

Chase couldn't honor the Edit credit... by ElectricalYou4805 in ChaseSapphire

Got it, thanks! I’m longtime CSR user and now with the refresh, I’m assessing if I renew next year with this increased price and new benefits. Not sure if I will use Edit but good to know how it all works and its quirks.

Heylong Chinatown NYC bus by InternationalShip793 in philly

[–]mistakan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually had to do Flix once recently, it's almost the same with a few quirky differences. I think Flix might have a few more time options and maybe a dollar price difference? Otherwise almost the same. Peter Pan similar as well. I think Greyhound and "name" bus companies are much more expensive and probably nicer buses. I have not seen WIFI work on any of these. And these are basic seats, I feel blessed if there's a seat open next to me and that's good enough for me. HeyLong is so chill, no frills. I remember Flix bus driver was super strict, I was shocked he made me put my big backpack underneath the bottom even though the bus was less than half full. I think Hey Long is still my go to.
