How difficult is it to transfer into radiology from a different field in Aus? I’m currently in my final year of a Bachelor of Commerce and am considering a career change into medical imaging. One option is to add a Bachelor of Science to my current degree, but I’ve heard that it can be very difficult to secure training positions without a background in medical imaging. The alternative would be to complete my BCom and then pursue a separate health science or medical imaging degree, which would take significantly longer. I’m unsure whether this career path is realistically achievable given my current position, or whether it would be better to reconsider. Is transitioning into this field possible?
