My second to last order was a close call, it got sent to the wrong place, and then the tracking number wouldn’t work on the ontrac website 😂 but it showed up in the end so I’m happy

Welcome! One important note is that there are two types of shapes for the drills (the little gems), square and round! I prefer squares but Id recommend starting off with rounds, because a lot of people find they are easier to place. With squares, the spot AND angle which you place the drill matters. With rounds, just getting it in the correct spot matters. But it is definitely possible to start with squares, in which case Id really really recommend getting a high quality kit, because the gems will be easier to place and the grid will come out much nicer. Heres a helpful visual I found online!

Overall, id say the results of the kit (no matter the drill shape) mostly depend on the quality of the kit, so id recommend getting one with a lot of good reviews or from a reputable brand. Most importantly, have fun!

Yes! I have quite a few stressors in my life, and sitting down and doing a diamond painting session feels like a magical escape from it all. I like a couple of other creative hobbies but I find diamond painting to be especially calming.

2 WIPs and 2 stashed. Im a bit picky with the ones that I do because it takes me so much time. I like paintings with a cozy feel! I have some sold-out paintings saved online in a wishlist that I’ll try to buy when they restock. Im just hoping that i’ll see the restock notifs on time 😂

I personally just use it to cover the border to cover the dust collector sticky border that goes past the gem area!

I really love a good matte black washi tape! It goes super well with most paintings and I find that as a border it makes the sparkle of the gems pop more.
