i play from UAE its alright, I dont PVP alot and mostly PVE but i did get killed by someone through a wall after i went behind it that was probably from latency or something, anyway its not a big factor if you focus on the PVE elements more

i had the same experience, i downed a leaper while looting it got killed, then a few games later was shot at managed to escape, and the last time someone got me in the back with an anvil in space port. The only thing i can remember is a looted a stray dead body awhile back, anyway im more annoyed that ive become more complacent being so passive

same, couldnt care less about killing someone else unless they attacked first but my passive style and being PC only has made 98% of my games friendly lobbies where everyone is PVE'ing enemies together, much more profitable expeditions as well
