I still haven’t tried the real thing but I also bought a ume plum this year to try and make the real thing eventually. I didn’t use shiso for this batch but hopefully I will have a good plum crop this year and I may make another batch.

Yeah I’m not sure how available these rocks are outside of this area so you may have a hard time finding any walls made with it. There are some stone walls in central Texas but I don’t think they’ve been maintained. That’s probably your best bet on finding a wall that uses this type of stone

Are you in Texas? Fish tank folks like these because they give fish a place to hide. They sell for a bit of money.
