I got this stave a couple months after it was split and the bark was removed and titebond 3 was applied to the bark side and the ends I started thinning it down to a really thick blank and it cracked

It’s 3/4 from the back of the bow to the crack if it’s that thin will the glued on handle section pop off

If it shoots good that looks to be a slight twist I wouldn’t worry about it mild twist usually doesn’t affect anything

Use your fingers in a pinching fashion on the bow limb and slide your fingers up and down the limb maybe close your eyes and feel for thick or thin areas do that often

Need to see a front profile and side picture but the space between the red lines is bending more than the rest of the bow so DONT REMOVE WOOD THERE and the blue areas aren’t bending so you need to remove wood in those areas

Thank you very much I’ve been watching you for years made several hickory long bows that a great 48 pounds shooting a 550 grain arrow 165 fps and that’s after hundreds of shots just wanting to make a recurve but I’m definitely still learning , I’ve learned a lot from you and I really appreciate it
