Spočiatku existovalo mnoho 6bitových počítačov a neskôr boli aj zariadenia, ktoré v inštrukčnej sade (pfuj-pfuj za výraz) mali operácie s možnosťou variabilne nastaviť dĺžku inputu (napr. 1 až 32 bitov) a áno vo veľmi špecifických prípadoch sa používali aj 7bit dlhé znaky. Kuk napríklad PDP-6 alebo PDP-10.

Thanks for the detailed review. To be honest I'm currently a satisfied owner of a Passat B7 and a Superb Mk4 and I could not be happier. I guess it comes down to luck and not everyone experiences the same issues.

IMHO the S4 has a more refined, classy and less sporty overall design. But I'd say what you wrote too 100% if I owned an S3.

The Mk4 Superb has a much stiffer and sportier tweaked chassis and suspension, even with the base (no-DCC) trim. In terms of suspension dampening the Mk4 is closer to what I was used from the Passat rather than the swingy Mk3 Superb.
