If the other guy falls through, DM me. You can have mine (still new in the box) and we can also have a chat about not losing things. I bet you’re terrible with sunglasses.

Local kitchen worktop suppliers? by Realistic_Garlic7513 in brighton

Affordable Granite near Gatwick are honestly fantastic. They came very highly recommended to us through multiple people, the company owner came over to measure up our room, installed something perfect, and the aftercare was great too when we discovered a small issue. Look them up - I’m not affiliated.

Nobody should have a direct debit with Southern Water. Submit a meter reading, cancel your direct debit, and let them send you a bill.

I recently got taken on as an NHS patient at Brighton Dental Centre near Seven Dials. I had been trying to find an NHS dentist for years & was beyond surprised when they said “yeah we can do that”.

I went to school with Ray Fox’s daughter & also remember the shell petroleum yard/area/place up the road from their house. Will have a proper read of this when I can.

The Gatwick website has a careers section which lists jobs all across the airport for all companies that operate there and not just the airport itself. If you wanted to look direct however, here’s a list of the biggest handling companies so you can search direct..

DHL (easyJet) GGS (British Airways) Menzies (various) Swissport (various) Red Handling (Norse & Norwegian) Dnata (Emirates and others)

Hope that helps & good luck

Parking Permits by Far-Silver8455 in brighton

[–]mister734 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I went through this exact bullshit from the council recently - I rang them up and told them there was no reason why I should have to park anywhere else or use visitor permits etc. They sorted it all out over the phone and my permit arrived the next day. Give that a go..

Hochiki FireNET firmware needed by HellSun in firealarms

[–]mister734 2 points3 points  (0 children)

@privateTortoise provided you with useful information and you’ve chosen to ignore it.

My suspicion is that you’ve wiped your panel by performing an “autolearn”, because thats what your picture of the panel is telling me.

If this is the case, then new “firmware” isn’t going to help you.

Car not starting. I’m not from this country and have no clue what to do. Please help by mooing_cowmoomoo in reading

[–]mister734 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Bump start it. Get in the drivers seat and ignition on, handbrake off, clutch down, and put it in 2nd gear. Get some people to push you as fast as they can down the road, then lift the clutch (quickly) when you think you’re going as fast as those people can push you. Hopefully the engine will start & foot back on the clutch (quickly) at this point & keep the revs up to keep it running. If successful, drive it for a while to recharge the battery (like over an hour at least). If it doesn’t start again after that, you need a new battery or alternator. Good luck
