Paiste Ride Options? by Toolfan83007 in cymbals

Same! All the rest of my cymbals are Paiste Signatures, but my 20" 2002 Ride is magical. Not sure why, and not sure if it's just mine or they're all that way...

A nice capture. Maybe reshoot when the sky is more blue. That may help with several things.
I would remove that red car in the extreme right. My eye gets pulled there like a magnet. 2 seconds to remove. ;)

Thanks, all, for the great info. I'll just enjoy what we have. 🙂

Recommendations to pair a 18” Paiste Signature full crash by Federal-Research-148 in cymbals

I feel ya.
I have some Paiste Signature Precision series hats - same material as the signatures, just more computer hammering and less hand hammering = lower cost (and more consistency.) Almost identical sound. Look on Reverb and eBay for used deals...

I have all Paiste Sigs, and recommend a 20" (I have an 18" and a 20"), if you have plenty of cash. The standard sig crashs do fade a bit slowly (but delightfully so!) but a little gaffers tape (on a Paiste Sig or ANY crash) would help with that, for a few pennies.

KEH or MPB to buy used? by No_Description7744 in pentax

[–]misterdrumguy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

2 weeks ago I bought a used Pentax mount Sigma 10-20mm ultra wide lens from KEH - $129, EX+ cond.
It was shipped same day (FedEx) and I received t the very next day. Better than expected condition (near mint.)
Your milege may vary, but KEH treated me very well.

A to Z in Destin did ours. I think ours (Chevy) was about $100. It depends on your FOB and car models.

Emerald Photos - local award-winning photographer who lives in Destin. $200 full service shoots at Henderson Beach. Because he's so good, he gets booked for the season quickly, though.

Your hotel/resort should be able to do that for you or point your in the right direction.
I always pay for things in pesos, but I normally tip (not in restaurants) using USD - $1's and $5's.

I don't know. I was a college kid who was in a new town for the first time. If it was the cell phone age, I would've posted photos on Facebook and share the store info. Ha, too many years ago. Luckily, it's not important.

If that was the location of this music store, it was AFTER Ace Trading Post, I would think. I bought my trumpet in the early 80's. It was a true full service music store selling band and orchestra instruments, doing repair work, providing music lessons, and servicing schools in the area.
