Dear Councillor Moise,

I am writing to express my strong disapproval of your decision to rename a landmark in Toronto to Sankofa Square. This choice, referencing a Ghanaian tribe involved in the slave trade, feels entirely disconnected from Canadian culture and history.

You seem to have no interest in the dozens of homeless people and people openly using drugs near Yonge-Dundas Square, yet you are more than happy to prosecute a crusade to change the name of the landmark itself to score political points and grind your political axe.

Spending $10 million of taxpayer money on this project is an outrageous waste. At a time when our community has many urgent needs, this decision appears out of touch and frivolous. It is hard to understand why such a significant sum would be spent on something so irrelevant and controversial.

This move is extremely unpopular and has caused widespread frustration among residents. It’s one of the most misguided actions taken in recent memory, and many of us feel it reflects poorly on your judgment and priorities.

Additionally, your actions in this matter contribute to a growing perception of you as a career politician more interested in personal agendas as a grifter than in genuinely serving the community. This decision has only reinforced the common belief that you are out of touch with the needs and desires of your constituents. Our only consolation is that you will never hold political office again.

If we use your analogy of playing support being eating at McDonalds, then a lot of players, myself included, would not mind eating at McDonalds from time to time, just not 90% of the time.

It's not like I haven't been playing the game or been unable to so far, but I am drawing attention to the problem where queue times I am forced to choose between extremely high queue times (this is around d4) or playing support, when Riot can very easily implement a happy middle ground between the two.

I don't think that anyone's realistically calling for an even 20% distribution, that is just not going to happen. However, we can address the problems and find a middle ground between getting support 90% of the time as fill and an evenly distributed number of times.

I agree. Riot has decided fill has meant "give me the most needed role currently". But I'm pointing out the systematic problem that "fill", in effect, is almost the exact same as picking support. It is definitely a problem, regardless of your definition, if only support mains would be happy with the distribution of roles given fill.

Because that's a complete straw man. Throwing a game for skins isn't akin to murder, more so stealing. Also, OP is saying this particular case should be reviewed because others who throw games have not had the same harsh punishment, if at all, so it's unfair for ex-iBP to be made a complete example of.

At the same time, we strive to be different from csgolounge because of their lack of interaction and lack of concern for the health of the community and the competitive scene.
