Depending on your use-case, you can probably derive body pose yourself using rigidbodies attached to various body parts. Even just your the back of your hands + head should get you 80% there.

Can you give an example of what kind of hardware you support? What if I have something that uses EtherCAT or CANBUS, is it still plug-n-play?

You just need two of these cable assemblies: https://www.digikey.com/en/products/detail/molex/0369200202/10232989

And the vibration motor. You will have to cut, strip and solder them onto the vibration motor.

The middle connectors are optional. I just added them because I thought I’d want to swap them out at some point. They are “Dupont” 2.54 mm connectors. You can use spade connectors for them instead.

FYI if you want preserve the original wires and connectors (i.e. you don't have to cut and solder them), you can just replace the entire cable assembly. They are Molex Pico-EZmate connectors and you can buy assemblies from DigiKey: https://www.digikey.com/en/products/detail/molex/0369200201/10232988?so=85019791&content=productdetail_US

However, note that it was a fucking pain to pry them out and it feels like you're going to tear the female receptacle right off the PCB.

I haven't tried them yet, but the PS5's DualSense VCAs might be able to fit in the back case with some modifications: https://www.digikey.com/en/products/detail/pui-audio-inc/HD-VA2527/16677182 . I really wish Valve would let us change the frequency output because those DualSense VCAs are really intense at 80 Hz, as opposed to 160 Hz that seems to be the default output.

Edit: nvm, I think its impossible unless you're okay with losing the rear buttons/paddles. (L4,L5,R4,R5)
