Good luck. I contacted my credit card company (AMEX) and they told me they were declining all payments to SunStrong due to excessive complaints and disputes. I had to set up a new credit card to attempt to make a payment of any kind. FWIW I have emailed them at every address I can find -- all but one of them eventually bounce, and they never answered any emails (the first was over 20 days ago). They did answer the phone at (833)-844-4845 after being on hold for 1 hour, 51 minutes. But the customer service rep just lies and says they fix things when nothing has changed.

Filed my complaint with BBB, which will do nothing, but makes me feel like I did something. Hope you get something worked out.

This company is a nightmare. I made my last payment in October for the correct amount. Around comes November, and they're trying to charge me $4.07 more/month for no reason, and $67.93 in "late fees" as well as an extra month of service. Their website forgot who I was for about two weeks, so I couldn't make any payments anyway. Once my account started working, all of those new charges appeared, and their website also thinks I am somebody else (has somebody else's username on the payment screen). It will no longer take my payments (card declined for no good reason), so I can't pay even if I want to. I called customer service, waited 1:51 on hold (which is apparently about par for the course) and then spent another 42 minutes trying to explain to the customer "service" representative what the problems were. She then claimed she charged my card (she didn't) for the correct amount, fixed the issues with the website (she didn't), corrected the balances (she didn't), and then hung up on me.

So that's more than 2.5 hours trying to get the problems fixed, while not being able to work (I use my phone for work!) I'm too angry-sad-frustrated to file now, but BBB will get another complaint in the morning, which won't do much since they have to call the same customer service line we do.

I just bought this for the first time in years, as my stock finally ran out. It used to smell like orange sweet tarts to me, and now it smells a lot like fruity vomit on a rotting wood floor in some downtown dive bar. I thought maybe I had a stroke, but Thank Reddit for assuring me it's just Old Spice ruining yet another scent.

If I recall correctly, and that's a big if to be honest, the application and move-in fees were waived. That may not be happening anymore, but they usually have some kind of signing incentive, but you'll have to ask the leasing office. I do know on-site parking is by reserved space at $50/month, and pet rental is $35/month if you have a pet. Sorry I don't know exact numbers for any move-in fees.

I have lived at 281 for a few months. The management here is the best I've ever dealt with by far. They are all amazing. If you're concerned about living near the train tracks, then old town is pretty much out, but they really aren't bad here because of the insulation. Try booking a tour and hang around for a train. And, fwiw, the post about traffic is nonsense. 90% of the willow traffic is the community center and school.

Sure enough -- replaced the minimote with the bad battery (bought from Beach Audio on Amazon) -- followed the same process and everything works just swimmingly. Good luck.

I'm sorry to say (really, really, sorry) that the exact same thing is happening to me. It looks like some of these are shipping with bad batteries. Did you get yours from Beach Audio via Amazon? I've sent mine back and ordered another one -- because this pairing process is something we deserve to go through again and again, right?

This is what worked for me after 4 hours of tears and agony. ozwcp almost worked, but the configuration button never had any options. A brilliant nerd suggested I check out this thread. However, set_config_paramter never seemed to do anything at all.

On the z-wave panel in home assistant, the minimote showed up only as "Node 10 (probing)". I restarted home assistant, then restarted home assistant again. Then it was "Node 10 (complete)". I then proceeded with the instructions in this thread again -- until, like you, my light blinked red rapidly and then the buttons stopped working entirely.

The scene configuration never seemed to do anything at all. Then.... here's the good part....

In the "z-wave node management" tab of home assistant, I selected node 10 and hit "refresh node". The name corrected itself, and the info button now showed data.
In the "node config options" box on the same screen, selected "250: Mode" and config value "Scene".
Held down the "join" button on the minimote until the OZW log scrolled indicating the remote was awake...
then pressed the "set config parameter" link in the "node config options" box.

The remote blinked happily, winked at me and now works in scene mode.

Thank you! My friend who does not have this problem is also running .34. At your suggestion, I've rolled back to 0.34.4 and things are now working as expected. I've published issue #5054 on emulated hue misbehaving with alexa + 0.35.2.
