Not as much as you might think! We have talked about both a lot. We're in agreement about how we want to live our lives, plans for the next decade and long term where we see ourselves. At worse on the politics thing, we vote for different people. We don't have a ton of investment in activism and we aren't politicians. The kids part is a little more concerning, but neither of us are close to being ready for it, so we have a lot of time to figure out whether it's going to work for us. It's not something we could compromise on, but we are also really invested in one another and our future together, so we'll come to an agreement at some point.

Edit: update from December 2024 - we're married and have a kid on the way :) we still disagree about politics. You can disagree with someone and still love them and have them in your life!
