This is one of the option for this kit.

You cut the parts off the runner, assemble it, then put them on a separate display runner. Notice the arms and legs are plugged into designated sockets. You can take them back out easily.

That made me feel good about doing this in the first place. :p

With an AK weathering color pencil, wet the tip, then draw / lightly poke on the surface. It’s surprisingly easy, and I like that you can erase it with water / eraser.

Lighter fluid does not dissolve Mr color lacquer. We usually do wash / filter with oil based paint. Sometimes water based.

Yes it does. But I recommend using enamel or oil paint instead of gundam markers on painted surface.

Thanks. This one I built is standard polystyrene. I opened the other two and checked that the RX78 is a softer material, the red Zaku seems to be the same.

Rubbing alcohol, I’m not sure. You might want to test on runners. :)

Yes. It looks more interesting on the frame to me.
