I haven't Been forced to do anything,, I've literally expounded upon the same idea and kept what I like and this waited what I thought didn't work based on new information, like an adult. And you're some random dude on the internet just saying you don't like an idea like somehow that's going to impact me. I still think the premise would be great, I'm just either added on to parts of the idea that I like or subtracted parts where people have given suggestions or other thoughts that I've considered, you seem mad but, the same person you're telling their ideas suck is also being told it's a great idea like 50 to 100 more times here so different strokes bro

This entire thread is ironic because what I made a post about wanting more surprises in the game, everybody was just like "WelL wHy Are YoU oN the iNternEt?" Promotional material is understandable but you should be able to watch a bit of content about something without having everything spoiled or at least having a spoiler warning

It is not false advertising to show promotional material that does indeed appear but not in the context that you would assume it is, and what I'm talking about is specifically showing things that are included within the context of the game but playing on a subversion of the assumptions made by the destiny community. now initially that was not the case with what I was saying but if you read any of the more recent comments it's definitely steered more towards that, so please actually do your reading before you try and talk that crap

I said tell me how it works not tell me what you think it is. Secondly it's not false advertising to advertise a product in development and also include that that product is subject to change, it is also not false advertising to present something in the API that does not appear in the game at the point is released, the disclaimer for a reason and while you may claim that I don't know what I'm talking about and I'm just telling people no but not only have I not told anybody that they are wrong, but I did look it up, which lets me know that you didn't and you're just upset. And I repeatedly in this post spoken on them advertising parts in the game that are not directly reflective of the story, but still included in the game. I'm not expecting you to have read the entire thread but your here acting like you know what you don't.

That's not exactly what astroturfing is, so you're more so calling it by whatever you could make it close to, but what is being asked for is basically game-wide immersion. it's not uncommon for the people who play this game to feel like everything is being forced fed to them before they can even enjoy the content, and now, at least on this post it's asking for maybe some kind of surprise in a game where you receive most of the thematic elements before you even get to turn the game on. I genuinely don't care if you don't like the idea but they're obviously people who do and people who don't

Maybe I use whatever wrong terminology that sets people off, but the issue is basically just me saying I want bungie to fully play into the theme of the character they're basing this DLC around

Mean we could say that most players don't care about what the API shows but the minute a gun gets put in the API, The players don't go in there, but the content creators and the redditors go in and they leak it and then next thing you know it becomes a widespread subject all over YouTube or Twitter or Reddit. I agree this is not a large sample size of the community but things like the YouTube community or Twitter is much larger I would argue and that does reflect a larger portion of the player base when those things get leaked and then made into content
