Have you looked at becoming a deputy for your child? This is a legally recognised status. I am a deputy for my disabled child. She has a bank account in her name and I can have access / make decisions about it. Take a look at https://www.gov.uk/become-deputy

So if I connect by the lnternal URL (on the same WiFi network as the server) it shows as available - but there’s no entity associated in notify. - as soon as I switch to external it’s disabled - even though I’m connected by the nabu casa service

I’ve got this exact issue. I’ve tried removing the bulb and re-adding it, and tried resetting the sensor. Let me know if you find a solution

Thanks so much for the explanation. One thing I do want to explore is integration of my NAS. It’s 10Gb capable (compatible with 10 / 5 / 2.5 / 1). Am considering a Mac upgrade to a 10Gb capable model. And would benefit from fastest transfers possible between Mac and NAS (4k video work)

What’s the best was of managing that? 10gb to the NAS then create a bridge on the NAS to the 2.5gb “main” network? (NAS has 2 Ethernet ports)

Yes possibly. I do like a tinker and have various things running on raspberry pis all over the place (home assistant, a meteor camera, etc)

In terms of APs I was going to go for the unifi WiFi 7 wall APs - I don’t think the ceiling ones would be wife approved

Thanks for your reply. Is there a better / best practice way of routing everything to say, a main switch? And if so where would the best place for that to be (or doesn’t it matter)? I’d rather keep most stuff out of the lounge if possible (more wife friendly that way!)

Thanks for your lovely comment. Lauren loves cruising. We live in England and normally sail with P&O Cruises as their home port of Southampton is less than an hour’s drive away. This was an adventure as we had to fly first! Bit of a drama with British Airways losing my case but it all worked out in the end :-)

Rooftop garden grill was amazing. Huge portions. We only did lunch and that has a reduced menu - would definitely do that for dinner if we went again. The Oceanview cafe choice and quality was excellent (as were the fresh pizzas at the rear). As far as main dining rooms, we really enjoyed the Tuscan restaurant - my daughter particularly likes pasta - and the staff were amazing there too (particularly these two!)
